I’ve heard speculation in that direction that I find concerning, especially after reading this.
It depends on whether Ford truly has federal ambitions. If he wants to be Prime Minister, waiting for Poilievre to fail and swooping in during the leadership is the way to do it. But if he prefers being Premier of Ontario, which I would argue has more power over the day-to-day life of Ontarians...then I wouldn't be surprised if he just keeps being Premier well into the 2030s.
He's got good career options. Shame he uses that power for truly terrible things.
He reminds me a lot of the US politicians I came here to get away from. Specifically, he reminds me of Texas politicians. The resemblance is uncanny. I wish he’d do better, as you say. Those images are disturbing.
