These pigs tortured Canadians, and Doug Ford protected them.
Torture is LEGAL in the Province of Ontario!

On December 22nd, 2023, two days after an incident between an inmate and a guard, correctional officers engaged in the collective punishment and torture of 192 inmates, the vast majority of whom have not been convicted of any crime and were merely awaiting trial.
These inmates were subjected to violence and torture over a several-hour period, beginning with the intentional use of a flash-bang grenade on inmates during normal routine. Inmates were then forcibly stripped naked, zip tied, and marched into the hallway where officers pointed guns at their heads and threatened to shoot if they twitched even as much as to breathe.
Several inmates demonstrated through medical documentation that during this torture, guards intentionally broke their bones, ignoring their screams of pain. Further, one of those inmates showed that jail staff repeatedly refused to provide any medical treatment for his broken bones.
The guns used in this act of torture were pepper-ball guns, advertised for supposedly being “less-lethal” than traditional firearms. The truth, however, is that pepper-ball ammunition is plenty lethal when you target vital areas and stand very close to the target…exactly as the guards are pictured doing to the inmates above.
Inmates were returned to their cells after the torture “ended”, only to discover that all their possessions had been permanently removed; one inmate reported to the court that the guards stole the photo of his son’s deceased mother. It was not until December 24th, two full days later, where inmates were provided clothes and “permitted” to stop being naked.
Jail staff also intentionally turned on industrial fans above the naked inmates, inducing dangerously freezing conditions during the middle of the Canadian winter; the jail’s HVAC manager claimed to the court that the temperature dropped over the two-day period “inexplicably”. One inmate reported that he was deprived of toilet paper for those two days, being forced to defecate without any means to clean himself.
Throughout all of this, Maplehurst Superintendent Winston Wong walked up and down the hallway, fist bumping guards and patting them on the back for doing such a great job at torture. The Government of Ontario has not disclosed whether Mr. Wong continues to work at Maplehurst.
Numerous inmates have received either reduced sentences, or had charges stayed entirely, because of this act of mass torture by Government of Ontario employees. But rather than take responsibility for their brutal act of violence, the Doug Ford government instead tried to block the Toronto Star from obtaining evidence of the torture.
Thankfully, the courts sided with the Star, and the evidence of this horrific violence is now public. And yet…nothing has changed.
The Government of Ontario refuses to say whether anybody was punished for engaging in this act of torture. OPSEU, the public-sector union which now apparently represents torturers, refused to provide any comment about their members committing torture.
So, what can we assume? This will happen again. Inmates in Ontario prisons will be tortured again, and again, and again, because the people of Ontario have decided that they like this.
They like when Doug Ford talks about the death penalty. They like when Doug Ford gives them an underclass of people, supposed “criminals”, whose suffering they can cheer for. You judge a society by the way it treats its lowest members, and in Ontario we torture them, because it makes Ontarians feel good to hurt people.
Let me be perfectly clear; even if the inmates in question were convicted of a crime, even if they had been convicted of the most serious crimes…this would still be torture, and it would still be illegal, and it would still be wrong.
The pigs at Maplehurst who tortured these Canadians do not deserve privacy. It is the moral imperative of the Canadian people to identify each and every officer sighted in this video, so that we can hold them criminally responsible for their illegal acts of torture.
The only suitable fate for vermin who torture prisoners is for them to become prisoners in turn. When you engage in these acts of violence, you abandon your own humanity, and descend to the state of an animal in human clothing.
Those who work at Maplehurst Correctional Complex, whether they be the guards, the medical staff, or the fan operator, have broken the law. They have broken bones. They have broken the most basic moral tenets of a civilized society.
All of them are criminals, all of them must be prosecuted to the full extent of the law, and all of them must go from the outside of the prison cell, to the inside.
Find them all, and deliver justice.
As a refugee fleeing those forms of violence, that is terrifying to see happening inside Canada. If Poilievre loses this election, do you think it’s likely Ford will get control of the Conservative Party? I’ve heard speculation in that direction that I find concerning, especially after reading this.
