There's a major problem with Jake Landau's perception. He seems to not recognize that the world exists outside of Toronto. Just bc John Tory didn't raise taxes for a decade does not mean the rest of Ontario hasn't had their property taxes not only increased, but to astronomical and unsustainable levels. That includes the rest of GTA who decades ago was forced to become part of the GTA against their will and money. He should also check out consultant groups like BMA which pits municipalities against each other. In general he needs to become more informed. But it's always easier to blame others than to take stock of the actual problems from a broad perspective. Instead he thinks people who own homes with actual back yards should give them up. He doesn't recognize things like the negative impact of millions of people coming to Canada every year having a substantial impact on the housing market. It appears Jake Landau still has alot of growing up to do.

Please show me the law which forced Peel Region and York Region and Durham Region to "become part of the GTA"
